TOP SOPHOMORES CLARK AND LLOYD TRANSFERRING OUT OF STATE

By Jacob H. Pollon

Two of the top sophomores in the country have made their intentions clear they will transfer from their current schools.

Skyy Clark is leaving Heritage Christian and Ramel Lloyd is leaving Taft.

Clark is headed Brentwood Academy in Tennessee and Lloyd is on his way to Dream City Christian in Arizona.

Both players were the best on their respective teams this past year. Clark helped lead Heritage Chr. to the So. Sec. Div. 2-A quarterfinals and Lloyd helped Taft reach the L.A. City section Open Division and earn a berth in the Div. 3 state playoffs.

Clark is a 6-foot-2 combo guard with great explosiveness. Lloyd is long, lanky wing that can do a bit of everything.

Clark's dad was in the Minnesota Vikings organization for a brief moment and Lloyd's dad played college ball at Syracuse and Long Beach St. before a pro career overseas.

Both high school teams could be losing more players. Heritage Christian's Max Allen is rumored to be heading back to Las Vegas or might end up at Ribet Academy or Crossroads.

Taft's Jason Hart is rumored to be checking out of school.

Both players are also sophomores.
